Former pub, now a slightly posh Indian Grill. Very nicely refurbished and the food was good. Only had large mixed grills with sides but there was plenty of food and it was under a tenner!
11 turned up for the second visit here. Seafood balti is recommended!
Curry night at the Malabar!
Had to send my starter back – smallest portion I’ve ever seen of Lamb Tikka! Otherwise the Bengal Fish Curry was very nice. Licensed so you can’t take your own booze.
Good turnout, and a good meal. I had the Goat curry which was nice. Contender for the most expensive meal we’ve had though at £26 per head (with drinks)
Candidate for the worlds smallest restaurant – 14 of us pretty much filled the place. Good monkfish curry, bring your own booze.
13 of us turned up tonight, good food, unlicensed and not bad value.
Nige, Eddie and Billy added for picks up to June
Foss picked this time. 2nd visit was better than the 1st but raving expensive!
